We use industry-leading CREO CAD software.
Our approach is simple: be efficient and be effective. Our documented processes allow us to deliver top-quality work on budget and on schedule.
CREO by PTC is an industry-leading CAD software package used by organizations in the Industrial, High-Tech, Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Consumer Goods and Medical industries to support key business objectives. CREO – formerly Pro Engineer or ProE – is powerful, able to handle large assemblies in a collaborative environment without flinching.
Our experience with CREO has given us a large asset bank of CAD details. For instance, drawing a thread in CAD can be a difficult task. Many resort to a thread as a simple cosmetic feature. The problem is that a cosmetic thread will not print in a rapid prototype. We can draw any standard or custom thread as a real, parametric solid. That means when you go to make a rapid prototype, you have the details necessary to actually print a real thread!
Our years of experience with ProE and CREO has allowed us to create an extremely efficient process. We are able to create the basic geometries of your product in a top-down approach that allows quick modifications to the file without regenerative errors that often plague CAD designers. That means that you spend less on CAD work while getting extremely flexible models that update quickly for a more efficient CAD modeling process.
In addition to 3D solid modeling, Pro CREO allows us to create 2D CAD drawings of your part with the option of using your drawing format. These drawings have a direct relationships to the original. That means if you change the design, the CAD drawings change automatically.
Our approach to CAD modeling follows best-practices in manufacturing geometries
Henning Product Development utilizes industry-leading CREO software to capture your products in 3D.
Use Henning Product Development CAD services to document your legacy parts in 3D.
Although Computer Aided Design has been with us for decades, most products have been made for much longer than that. You may also have received a part from a supplier without a drawing. Or you may have a product made years ago that is now seeing a revival in interest.
The classics are always in demand, and many consumers – especially homeowners – are looking for that nostalgic product as it was, not necessarily a modern-retro iteration.
Henning Product Development Reverse Engineering allows you to bring parts into 3D to ensure a good fit in assemblies, for documentation control and for current and future modifications. We pay close attention to detail, and are capable of imitating any physical surface.
Our Reverse Engineering services give you a chance to gain the efficiencies of today's product manufacturing environment with classics of the past.
Send us your 2D drawings and see your products in a whole new light!
Today's product development cycle requires 3D CAD models. 3D solid modeling lets you take advantage of new and efficient services including Rapid Prototyping, CNC manufacturing and Injection Mold Tooling. In fact, many providers cannot offer a quote using 2D drawings since much of their operations are built on the powerful capabilities 3D modeling provides.
3D CAD drawings allow computations of mass, volume and surface area in a matter of seconds. These calculations are vital to allow an injection mold tool maker to provide an accurate quote. 3D assembly models allow a contract manufacturer to plan assembly processes, and to help foresee problems before expensive tooling is committed.
And sometimes it's just nice to see your products in three dimensions. Consider an existing part. What would it look like in blue? What about adding a surface texture to the handle? What if we made it longer at this end, with a larger fillet? All of these questions are quickly answered with the power of a 3D model.
We accept ANY 2D Drawing! Whether you have a vellum plot, a DWG, DXF, PDF, BMP, TIF, AI, JPEG or other data drawing, or you have the classic "drawing on the back of an envelope" we can turn it into a 3D CAD file. Call or write to us today to find out more about what's possible.
